Amid an otherwise rather ordinary Premier League weekend, Tottenham Hotspur's trip to Manchester City sticks out like a rose in a thorn bush.

When these two sides met earlier in the season, Spurs ended City's emphatic start to the campaign with a masterclass in high pressing that Pep Guardiola's side are still yet to truly recover from - something further highlighted by their 4-0 defeat to Everton last weekend.

Indeed, Spurs are very much the yang to City's yin; the latter look to build from the back, whilst the former aim to close down from the front. That, combined with the quality gap between the two sides continually decreasing, is setting up for another fantastic match at the Eithad Stadium on Saturday.

As always in the build-up to Football FanCast's Fixture in Focus, we posed a curious questions to Spurs fans earlier this week; which Man City stars would you like to see join the ranks at White Hart Lane?

Well, the results are now in and Football FanCast can exclusively reveal the top five...

5. Kelechi Iheanacho

Spurs fans can have few complaints with top scorer Harry Kane, who's finding the net for fun once again this season, but the England international undoubtedly lacks adequate back-up. Vincent Janssen just hasn't delivered since arriving at White Hart Lane last summer and it appears Lilywhites supporters would prefer Kelechi Iheanacho as Kane's understudy. That's more than understandable; the Nigerian youngster has demonstrated enormous potential, already boasting twelve Premier League goals at 20 years of age, and offers the kind of penetrative pace Spurs sometimes lack in the final third.

4. Leroy Sane

A somewhat surprising choice considering the highly-rated Leroy Sane has been stuck on the fringes of first team affairs during his debut campaign at the Etihad Stadium. Nonetheless, the German international comes with a preceding reputation from his time in the Bundesliga and Spurs fans have seemingly seen enough from his nine Premier League outings to vote him to fourth place in our poll. Much is expected of the £37million signing over the course of the next few seasons.

3. David Silva

One of the greatest playmakers in Premier League history, David Silva takes a deserved place in the top five. Indeed, the Spaniard hasn't been quite as influential this season, seemingly taking a backward step to allow Kevin De Bruyne to take centre stage, but remains one of European football's top midfield talents, averaging 3.5 created chances per match in the Champions League this term. Even with the likes of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen in top form at the moment, Pochettino would surely find room for the tiki-taka magician in Spurs' starting XI.

2. Sergio Aguero

This poll just wouldn't feel legitimate without Sergio Aguero featuring somewhere in the top five. Like Silva, the Argentine's name is firmly etched in Premier League history, helping fire the Citizens to two titles with an overall return of 154 goals in 230 outings. That includes eleven goals this season to claim seventh in the division's scoring charts, despite missing around six games less than the majority of his counterparts. No doubt, Spurs fans would love to sign the South American - but would they start him over Harry 'he's one of our own' Kane?

1. Kevin De Bruyne

The new star of the show at the Etihad Stadium and a player most managers would want to have in their team. Indeed, offensive box-to-boxer Kevin De Bruyne seems to have a bit of everything; natural athleticism, creative instincts, a blistering shot from long range and frankly impeccable technique, which underpins the rest of his many fantastic assets. Capable of playing anywhere across the midfield and devastating when it comes to set pieces, the Belgium international would be a fantastic asset for any side. To see him linking up with Dele Alli and Harry Kane would be a mouth-watering prospect, to say the very least.
