Amid a largely underwhelming batch of FA Cup match-ups, only one truly sticks out for us at Football FanCast - Sutton United vs. Leeds United, which is our Fixture in Focus.

Indeed, the fourth round always lacks the glamour and upsets of its immediate predecessor but boasting home advantage and carrying an aura of invincibility after seeing their way past Forest Green, Dartford, Cheltenham and Wimbledon, the potential is certainly there for Sutton to record a giant-killing in front of their own fans.

Not that Leeds are in poor health; in fact, they're currently third in the Championship, sitting on an eight-point cushion between themselves and seventh place. In a nutshell, Garry Monk's side look set for the playoffs at a minimum this term.

Nonetheless, the lowest-ranked club left in the competition taking on the side in arguably the best form inevitably panders to some FA Cup magic. But what do the numbers tell us about Sunday's meeting at Gander Green Lane?

Set piece threat

We often see the lesser-fancied sides try to take advantage of set piece situations in the FA Cup, where natural height and physicality can be a real leveller. But we could well witness a reversal in roles on Sunday if Leeds' Championship form is anything to go by: 33% of their league goals have come from set-pieces this term, ranking them fourth throughout the division.

That should be no surprise to Whites fans. They have some fantastic targets in the air, not least including 6ft. 5" centre-back Pontus Jansson and top scorer Chris Wood.

Sutton's selection of scorers

To say Sutton are an attacking team would perhaps be a little generous - they've actually scored the fourth-fewest goals of any side in their division so far this season.

Nonetheless, Paul Doswell's boys do have one redeeming feature in that regard - the ability to provide goals from all departments. No less than 13 different players have scored in league action for them this season, ranging from centre-forwards to centre-backs. To give some comparison, only ten players have netted for Leeds in the Championship this term. So despite the difference in quality, the Whites must be wary on Sunday, because it's clear Sutton can pop up with goals from anywhere - in fact, their top scorers in the league are midfield duo Nicky Bailey and Jamie Collins.

Lopsided Leeds

According to the statistics at least, any chance of a shock Sutton victory will require the Vanarama National League outfit snuffing out Leeds' momentum down the right-hand side. Indeed, the Whites focus a significant 43% of their play down the right flank, compared to just 37% on the other wing and only 20% through the middle.

Garry Monk may opt to make changes to his usual XI on Sunday but promising youngster Hadi Sacko has been taking the right-wing role on the most part this season. Although a return of two goals and three assists may not be exactly outstanding, his speed and direct style - averaging 2.1 dribbles-per-match this term - is clearly important to the way Leeds attack.
