Arsenal fans have been highly critical of almost every aspect of the club over the past season, whether you feel they are right to or not it is clear something needs to change this summer.

A £200m overhaul of the playing squad has been rumoured this summer, however, fans in north London will be desperate to see it spent on the right targets after some of their recent big money acquisitions failed to live up to the billing.

With that in mind, the Gunners will be looking into every facet of a potential target's game as they look to find the perfect fit for Wenger going forward, if the Frenchman stays on that is.

One man who would certainly fit the bill is 18-year-old Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic.

The American international, who recently turned down Liverpool admitting he was 'never really thinking' about an Anfield move, moved to Der BvB in his early teenage years and has not looked back since, already racking up over a half-century of appearances in the famous yellow shirt as well as having the hopes of a nation placed on his shoulders at international level.

The gifted playmaker is a menace with the ball at his feet, possessing an almost magnetic touch Pulisic is a nightmare for opposing defenders, whether he be running at them from deep or causing havoc in the final third.

Wenger's recent shift to a 3-4-3 system means the onus is on the two behind the striker to create almost everything centrally and, with question marks over the futures of both Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, the club need someone to come in and prove they can take on the mantle at The Emirates.

You would be hard fought to find anyone else on the continent in and around Pulisic's age bracket capable of doing so to the level he would. A match made in heaven? It could well be.
