Where are they now? Everton 4-1 Tottenham (1995)
GK – Neville Southall
Neville Southall amassed over 550 appearances in a lengthy career at Goodison Park, with victory against Tottenham and subsequently Man Utd in the FA Cup undoubtedly a highlight of his time at Everton.
He tried his hand at management following his retirement, with stints at the helm of Dover Athletic and Hastings United alongside a caretaker role for Margate.
Following that, he wrote an autobiography entitled ‘The Binman Chronicles’.
His role within football has diminished in recent years, and beyond the odd piece of punditry work, Southall rarely features in the context of football. Instead, he has devoted his post-retirement years to charity work, with the 58-year-old a regular at charity events.
