Games between Everton and Tottenham are often very exciting and goal-filled affairs. The clubs have had a number of high profiles clashes in recent years, with trophies and championships often on the line in times gone by.

Both sides meet once again this weekend, with The Toffees playing host to The Lilywhites on Sunday afternoon. Whilst this game is markedly less significant than many in the past, both Mauricio Pochettino and Ronald Koeman will be keen to ensure that their respective side comes out on top.

Looking back on fixtures between the two clubs, there have been a number of classics - with the FA Cup semi-final in 1995 a particular highlight. On that occasion, Everton won 4-1 - with the Toffees going on to win the competition in the next round.

That game was over 20 years ago now, though, and in the build up the next fixture between the two clubs, we thought that it might be time to see where Everton's heroes are now.

With that said, click below to see just what each of Everton's 11 starting heroes are up to now...

 GK - Neville Southall

Neville Southall amassed over 550 appearances in a lengthy career at Goodison Park, with victory against Tottenham and subsequently Man Utd in the FA Cup undoubtedly a highlight of his time at Everton.

He tried his hand at management following his retirement, with stints at the helm of Dover Athletic and Hastings United alongside a caretaker role for Margate.

Following that, he wrote an autobiography entitled 'The Binman Chronicles'.

His role within football has diminished in recent years, and beyond the odd piece of punditry work, Southall rarely features in the context of football. Instead, he has devoted his post-retirement years to charity work, with the 58-year-old a regular at charity events.

Currently 48-years-old, Andy Hinchcliffe is a regular on our screens.

Hinchcliffe has taken a very different route to Southall since retiring from football, with the ex-Everton man now a pundit, working regularly with Sky Sports.

A regular feature in the media, Hinchcliffe is also a member of the 'Set Piece Menu' podcast, which continues to be produced today.

 CB - Gary Ablett

Following his retirement from football in 2001, Ablett continued to maintain a presence within football.

He started coaching in 2002, with spells with the developmental teams of both Liverpool and Everton coming before becoming Stockport manager in 2009.

Ablett unfortunately passed away in 2012 after a 16-month long cancer battle.

 CB - David Unsworth

David Unsworth is still a very familiar name to Everton fans, with the former defender still maintaining a presence at Goodison Park.

He is currently coach of the Toffees' under-23 side - having re-joined the club in 2013.

The Englishman has also coached for both Preston North End and Sheffield United in his post-retirement career.

 CB - Dave Watson

Watson played a key part of Everton's side on the day, with the defender putting in an impressive performance at the back.

Now 55-years-old, Watson is another player that has maintained a presence in football, and he is currently coaching youth players at Newcastle United.

He has been very successful at it too, with Newcastle's developmental teams proving successful in recent years.

 RB - Matt Jackson

Matt Jackson scored one of the four goals against Tottenham in 1995, with his strike taking Everton's tally to two on the day.

He retired from football in 2007, and has maintained a presence within the game since that point.

The Englishman returned to a major role within football in 2015, where he currently resides, with the ex-Everton man currently the Football Operations Manager at Wigan Athletic.

 LM - Graham Stuart

Graham Stuart was another scorer against Tottenham, with the winger bagging the opening goal for Everton.

Stuart is a regular on the TV, though he may be more well-known for his comments on Chelsea, rather than Everton. A regular on Chelsea TV, Stuart has built up a significant rapport with the Chelsea faithful.

He still as a few links to Everton, though, and is regularly involved in matchday duties at Goodison Park.

He is also a regular on Sky Sports.

 CM - Barry Horne

Barry Horne has been a busy man since retiring from football in 2002.

He worked at Wrexham Football Club following his retirement in the role of a director  - a position that he held until 2016.

Like many of his teammates, though, his main roles have been in the media - with Horne a regular on both radio and TV. Appearances for both Sky Sports and Match of the Day are just two examples of his post-retirement work.

 CM - Joe Parkinson

Joe Parkinson has made a particularly strange career following his retirement.

He has worked at a zoo, featured intermittently in the media, and - strangely - even had a stint as a forklift driver over the years.

More recently, however, he has worked as a coach for Wigan Athletic, firstly within the youth setup and later as a first team coach.

The Sun reported late last year that he had been released, though this has not been confirmed.

 RM - Anders Limpar

Anders Limpar had a nomadic ending to his career, finalising closing out his time as a professional in Sweden in 2001.

He then went on to join Djurgårdens IF as a coach, before going on to join Division 2 side Sollentuna FF as a coach in 2008.

Interestingly, he has also expanded his career into the world of gambling, and he is apparently the current CEO of BestBetToday.com.

Everton's Paul Rideout celebrates his goal

Paul Rideout has been just about everywhere since he left Everton in 1997. He had spells in both China and America before moving into coaching following his retirement in 2002.

Likewise, he has coached all over the world - with significant spells in the youth system of Kansas City Wizards and various other teams within the United States.

He has now earned a US Citizenship, and so it seems as though he is enjoying life across the Atlantic - though he is still a keen follower of Everton.

 SUB - Daniel Amokachi

He started on the bench, but there is no doubting the influence that Daniel Amokachi had on the game - bagging 2 goals for the Toffees.

Amokachi has certainly been around since leaving Everton in 1996, signing for the likes of Colorado Rapids and Besiktas before calling time on his career.

Since retiring, he has had a number of management spells with the likes of Nasarawa United, Enyimba, alongside holding coaching and interim roles for the Nigerian national side.

He is currently managing Finnish third division side JS Hercules, and recently spoke to the Guardian about his love for the country.
