FFC resident bookie Fat Barry continued his impressive run of form of late and is starting to justify his large salary, here at FanCast Towers. He has scoured these weekend's fixtures and picked out some top tips, should you fancy a punt this weekend.
The big London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham looks like an attractive game. This should be a very tight game and could go either way. Spurs have their best chance in years to finally beat a Chelsea side, buoyed by the arrival of Nicolas Anelka, in a Premiership game and this is what I think will happen at 9/2. Not the most generous of odds if you ask me but any win at that price is going to pay well.
Liverpool at 8/11 to win at Middlesbrough is an attractive proposition and although Liverpool are not in the best form at the moment. I suggest throwing a few quid on this. Liverpool results have been poor lately but not there performances and against a poor Boro side, the 3 points should be a certainty.
Man Utd should have no trouble disposing of manageress Newcastle so the only bets worth looking at are score lines and first goal scorer. I personally would go for the 3-0 victory at odds of 13/2 with the inform Cristiano Ronaldo to get the first goal at the relatively low price of 7/2 – for those who like a risk, why not have a punt on these two together at a price of 25/1.
Elsewhere in the Premiership, I don't see any problem for Arsenal at home to Birmingham and would gamble on a 2-0 victory at 5/1 with Tomas Rosicky being a great bet to score the first goal at 9/1 – Once again combine both at a whopping 45/1 and at Goodison Park, which will see the tightest game of the weekend, I firmly expect to see Man City to come away with the 3pts against an Everton side that are ruing the loss of Pienaar, Yobo and Yakubu to the African Cup of Nations. 11/5 presents good value and a decent return for those who are happy like me to throw a few quid down.
