West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola was relieved of his duties at Upton Park following West Ham’s final game of the 2009/10 Premier League season against Manchester City. Zola was in charge of West Ham for less than two years, but his future was always uncertain after the arrival of the two Davids earlier in the season (here they are potentially discussing Zola’s future behind his back earlier in the season). Zola’s last game against City in which the Hammers earned a 1-1 draw saw the return of a West Ham fan favourite to Upton Park, Carlos Tevez. The little Argentinean and the Hammers fans have such a good rapport that Tevez pulled on the claret and blue at the final whistle and saluted the Upton Park faithful. Here’s Tevez hugging Zola before the Italian's departure, but what’s being said and will either or both of them return to West Ham in the future?

WIN A COPY OF THE GAME WITH DANNY BAKER ON DVD

Danny Baker charts the fortunes of one season in the the East London Sunday League Division 4 and its sister competition, the Dick Coppock Cup, in The Game, a cult TV series first aired more than 20 years ago on ITV. Now, some two decades later, those exploits are being made available on DVD for the first time ever in The Game, released by Revelation Films on May 24th 2010. Late tackles and skied clearances, mud and guts, own goals and gaffs, punch ups and even the odd moment of skill… This is real football, warts ‘n’ all. ‘Ave it!
