Will Tottenham prove too strong for Villa? Chelsea to turn over Fulham in West London derby – fat Barry’s bets

Fat Barry would like to take this opportunity as well as everyone from FanCast Towers to wish all our readers a wonderful New Year and our resident bookie hopes to start off the year by making you all a few quid.

The early kick off at Fulham will probably be to early for most of you given last night's proceedings however New Years Day is a busy time in the football world and there is plenty of money to be had should you fancy a flutter.

The game at Craven Cottage is a tough one to call with Chelsea going through an injury/suspension crisis at the moment, whilst the home side, under Roy Hodgson, will no doubt be eager to impress. My head is telling me that Chelsea will win this derby and I feel the smart money should be on a 2-0 victory and at 11/2, you have a great opportunity to make a nice few quid.

The other Sky game on today comes from Villa Park, where Martin O'Neill's side entertain the Premiership's goal machine Tottenham Hotspur. While the smart money would be on a draw, I have a feeling that Ramos men will sneak it in a high scoring encounter and at 9/5, it is well worth a bet. I also feel the 7/1 on Berbatov scoring the first goal is extremely generous and well worth a few quid.
