Manchester United target Neymar has been urged by his former agent Wagner Ribeiro to finish his career at rivals Real Madrid, according to reports from the Express.
The 23-year-old Barcelona star was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the final days of the recent summer window.
There has even been speculation that United tabled a mega offer worth around the £140million region for his services, but the forward eventually decided to remain with the La Liga winners.
Based on a letter written by Ribeiro to Neymar’s father, he advised that the Brazil international should take his money out of Brazil in order to avoid the recent tax problems and eventually finish his career with Real.
“Take your money, take it to tax havens, legally, of course,” he said.
“That way you will stop paying taxes in Brazil. Close your businesses, the Praia Grande institute and enjoy your life on the Mediterranean beaches.
“But let Neymar play a few more years of football.
“Let him finish his career in Europe, preferably Real Madrid.”
The attacker recently revealed that he knew of the interest from United manager Louis van Gaal, but nothing concrete was made to further his negotiations, ensuring his stay at the Camp Nou.
The Red Devils eventually ended their chase for the player and instead completed a £36million deal for 19-year-old Anthony Martial from now former club Monaco.
