Arsenal are considering a £15.9million offer for Napoli attacking midfielder Jose Callejon, Metro reports.
The Spanish winger has recently been linked with a move to the Emirates and according to sources in Spain, Callejon has been offered to the Gunners by a third party agent.
Several top European clubs made bids during the summer for the Napoli star, but former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is hoping Callejon remains with the Partenopei.
Napoli have been struggling so far this season, first being knocked out of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers by Athletic Bilbao then starting the league campaign losing three games on the trot.
This has put Rafa Benitez under huge pressure, as well as several key players being linked with move away from the Stadio San Paolo.
Gonzalo Higuain is also being monitored by the Gunners, but it seems Callejon could be the first one to leave Napoli this January with the Serie A side willing to let go of the former Real Madrid star for £15.9million.
Callejon moved to Napoli from Real Madrid back in the summer of 2013, scoring 20 goals for the Italian club last season.
