West Bromwich Albion star Saido Berahino was once again denied a move despite late interest from Newcastle United and Stoke City, Sky Sports reports.
The 22-year-old will now remain at The Hawthorns until at least the end of the current campaign as his future continues to be the subject of speculation.
Club chairman Jeremy Peace already rejected offers from a number of side’s during the summer and has once again refused to do business during the January window.
Both Newcastle and Stoke were said to have tabled £21m offers ahead of deadline day, but West Brom were not keen to open negotiations over their strikers exit.
Tottenham Hotspur also saw their £22m summer bid rejected as Berahino will need to wait until the next window to try and force another move.
The striker managed to net 20 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions last term, but has only registered eight starts so far this season, scoring three.
