Manchester United’s £28.8million summer signing Ander Herrera has returned to training and could feature in their Premier League clash against Queens Park Rangers this weekend, Mirror reports.
The Spaniard has been out with an ankle problem for the past three weeks but seems to have recovered in time for the next league fixture.
Herrera only managed to play one competitive appearance for the Red Devils – the season opener loss against Swansea – before suffering an ankle injury.
The 21-year-old midfielder is however adamant that the problem is now behind him and that he is ready to face QPR this Saturday.
Herrera wrote on the social media platform on Twitter: “Training hard and looking forward to this next game at Old Trafford!
The return of the former Athletic Bilbao star will come as a positive as a huge boost to Man United’s midfield which lacked bite and control over the past few games.
