Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted at a possible move to the English Premier League amid interest from Manchester United, according to reports from the Mirror.
Ibrahimovic was heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes last summer when there was only a year left on his contract, but the Sweden international decided to stay put and finish his deal.
Apart from AC Milan and Galatasaray, Man United were also monitoring the situation in hopes of a potential transfer and could try to convince the former Ajax ace to join if Jose Mourinho takes over at Old Trafford.
The two worked together during their time at Inter Milan and shared a good relationship before Ibrahimovic moved to Barcelona.
And when asked whether he would consider a move to England, the striker replied: “Let’s just say I am in shape for it.”
“I have another three months here and, then, what will happen? Big things will happen.”
Despite being 34, Ibrahimovic is still in great form for the Ligue-1 giants, scoring his team’s first goal in their 2-1 Champions League win over Chelsea on Tuesday.
Ibrahimovic made 33 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 28 goals.
