Chelsea target Paulo Dybala prefers a possible move to Barcelona over the Blues, according to reports from the Mirror.
The Palermo superstar has been heavily linked with a move away from Stadio Renzo Barbera after an amazing season for the Rosanero, with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea all keen on his services.
The Premier League leaders even reportedly made a concrete £29million bid recently, however Dybala admitted that he is hoping to make a switch to Barcelona above all other clubs.
Dybala said: “If the president, Maurizio Zamparini, says I have to leave, then I want to enjoy these last few games as a Palermo player, I want to do my best.
“I went to Barcelona to watch the latest Clasico. It’s a city I like a lot, and they play very nice football.
“When I was a child I preferred Barcelona, because they had more Argentines.
“Then, of course, there’s (Lionel) Messi, who is an idol in Argentina.”
Dybala joined Palermo from Argentina club Instituto in the summer of 2012, but has only fulfilled his potential this season with a stunning 10 goals and 13 assists in 30 Serie A games.
Labelled as the ‘New Sergio Aguero’ upon his arrival by club president Maurizio Zamparini, Dybala’s agent has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are both also looking to sign the highly-rated 21-year-old.
