Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to consider a pre-contract offer from Chelsea this January, according to reports from the Metro.
Ibrahimovic was heavily linked with a move away from PSG back in the summer, with the striker’s contract expiring at the end of the season.
However, the Sweden international decided to remain with the Ligue-1 champions until he runs out his deal, which means ‘Zlatan’ will be able to leave on a Bosman for free next June.
This has therefore alerted several clubs of his availability, and they are preparing pre-contract offers that if agreed will see him join next summer.
And Chelsea are one of the teams most keen on the striker, with manager Jose Mourinho looking to reunite with the player he managed while he was at Inter.
But, the Blues will face some competition from AC Milan, with the Serie A side confident of bringing the 34-year-old back to the San Siro.
Ibrahimovic made 37 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 30 goals.
