West Brom ace Jonas Olsson has urged international team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic to make a move to the English Premier League, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Ibrahimovic was heavily linked with a move away to Manchester United during the summer, and has recently been reported to be favouring a move to Arsenal after his time with PSG.
But despite his contract with the Ligue-1 champions expiring at the end of the campaign, the Sweden star decided to stay at the Parc des Princes as he considers his options.
The ex-Barcelona attacker also revealed earlier this month that he thinks it is a bit too late to move to the English top flight at his age after stints in Holland, Italy, and Spain, yet Olsson is adamant that ‘Ibracadabra’ still has the ability to light up the Premier League.
“He’s still at the top of his game. He is the strongest player I have been up against. I really hope he comes,” he said.
“Zlatan on his day is the most talented footballer in the game. He has played under Jose Mourinho before and the only place where he’s not 100 per cent appreciated is in the UK.
“I think he can play for any team in this league – he is still that good.”
Ibrahimovic made 37 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 30 goals and providing eight assists.
