35-goal striker could make Italy move despite Man United and Chelsea interest

Former AC Milan director Ariedo Braida has hinted that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could make a return to the Serie A giants from Paris Saint-Germain despite interest from England, according to reports from Goal.

Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier league in recent weeks, with the Sweden international’s contract with PSG expiring at the end of the season.

It has been claimed that ‘Zlatan’ is being chased by Manchester United and Chelsea, and despite being 34 years old, will be a massive coup for any club.

However, ex-Milan director Braida has suggested that the striker will consider a switch back to the San Siro, where he played for two years winning one Serie A title.

“Ibrahimovic very much loves the city of Milan,” he told Mediaset Premium.

“In my opinion, he could also decide to return to wear the Rossoneri shirt.”

The former Ajax and Juventus centre forward just helped PSG to their fourth successive Ligue-1 triumph, scoring four goals in their 9-0 win over Troyes on March 13.

This season, Ibrahimovic has made 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring 35 goals and supplying 16 assists.
