Manchester United summer signing Anthony Martial believes that his new club can win the Premier League as well as the Champions League this season, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Martial has been in great form since his £36million arrival from Monaco, already scoring four goals in the current campaign.
And his confidence seems to be growing, as he is adamant that the Red Devils have the ability to win the coveted double this season.
“I think we can win the Premier League and the Champions League this season. Both of them. We are among the top five clubs [in Europe],” he said for Telefoot.
When the 19-year-old arrived at Old Trafford on transfer deadline day, fans as well as critics condemned the high £36million fee Man United paid for a relatively unknown talent from Ligue-1.
But after his performances, Martial is glad that the supporters have now taken a liking to his talents.
He added: “It is going well so far. I have had a great welcome from the fans. I don’t think about my price on the pitch.
“The goal against Liverpool, the big enemy of the club, allowed the fans to get to know me a bit better.”
United will travel to Goodison Park to face Everton in their next Premier League fixture, before a massive Manchester derby against league leaders Manchester City the following weekend.
