Manchester United and Arsenal target Mats Hummels has been priced at £47million by Borussia Dortmund, Express reports.
The Germany international has been heavily linked with a move away from Dortmund in the summer, but a transfer failed to materialize with Hummels opting to stay with the Bundesliga side.
However after a poor start to the season, Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is under some pressure and is regularly asked whether Hummels could leave the club this winter.
The 25-year-old contracted till 2017 and unlike Marco Reus – who has a release clause of £20million activated next summer – Hummels did not include a buy-out clause in his deal.
Klopp has therefore slapped a massive £47million asking price on the centre-back, making it up to the Premier League duo if they want to pursue their chase.
The Gunners reportedly only have £20million to spend in the winter window, so is set to look at alternatives to the World Cup winner.
But Manchester United do have the buying power, and with the recent knee injury to Daley Blind, could pay the giant fee to bring Hummels to Old Trafford.
