Manchester United target Edinson Cavani will consider a £50million move to join Arsenal next summer, Express reports.
The Uruguayan international is reportedly unhappy playing out of position for Paris Saint-Germain, being deployed on the wing rather than as a centre-forward.
And although Cavani insists he is not yet looking for a move in January, the former Napoli striker could consider a switch to the Premier League in the summer.
The likes of Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in Cavani’s services, with the 27-year-old still a consistent scorer despite playing out of his preferred role.
However it has been suggested that the opportunity to live in London could give the Gunners’ the upper hand in the chase for the PSG star, something that made Alexis Sanchez choose the Emirates over a move to Liverpool.
Arsene Wenger has pinpointed a centre-back and a defensive midfielder as this winter’s priority transfer targets, but Arsenal could once again be looking for a striker come July.
