Everton will reject Chelsea and Manchester United bids for star striker Romelu Lukaku this summer, even if they are offered £50million for his services, according to reports from the Mirror.
Lukaku has been heavily linked with a move away from Goodison Park in recent weeks, with the Belgium international on terrific form for the Toffees this season.
However, despite his goalscoring feats, Lukaku is hoping to play in the Champions League next term, which seems impossible due to Everton’s league position at 12th.
Yet with the recent investment from Iranian billionaire Farhad Moshiri, the club are confident they can fend off interest in the 22-year-old striker by planning to sign some big names in the summer.
The former Anderlecht ace still has three years remaining on his contract, meaning that even if Chelsea or Man United submit a proposal in the region of £50million, it is still likely to be snubbed by Everton’s hierarchy.
Lukaku has made 37 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 25 goals.
