Manchester United and Manchester City target Robert Lewandowski has agreed a five-year contract with Bayern Munich, according to reports from Bild.
The 27-year-old is now set to remain with the Bundesliga giants until at least 2021, a factor which will come as a huge blow to both Manchester sides.
United have been linked with a move for the striker over the past few transfer windows, while Bayern boss Pep Guardiola is said to be keen to bring him to City when he moves to the Etihad in the summer.
Both clubs were considering a £60million offer to lure him to the Premier League, but may now need to look elsewhere in their search to sign another forward.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal has struggled with injuries up top this season and was forced to call upon academy starlet Marcus Rashford to lead his attack on multiple occasions.
Lewandowski has already featured 39 times in all competitions for his side this term, so far managing to score 36 goals while providing another six assists.
