Manchester United flop Bebe could be returning to English football with Reading considering a bid for his services, according to reports from the Mirror.
Bebe was purchased by Sir Alex Ferguson back in the summer of 2010 for £7.4million, but the Portuguese failed to have any impact for the Red Devils, making only six appearances.
The 24-year-old was then sent on loan to Besiktas, Rio Ave, and Pacos de Ferreira over the next three years, before being sold permanently to Benfica in 2014.
But it didn’t get any better there, as after just two games Bebe was also loaned out to La Liga club Cordoba.
However, despite his struggles, Reading manager Steve Clark is looking to persuade Bebe to have another shot in English football next season, with Benfica likely to allow the attacker to leave.
Bebe has played 16 games since his move to Cordoba in January, but has still yet to score for the Spanish side.
