Chelsea and Manchester United may be forced to end their chase for Gareth Bale with speculation suggesting he’s ready to prove his worth at Real Madrid, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old’s 2013 move from Tottenham Hotspur was the most expensive transfer to date, with the deal costing a record £85.3million.
Madrid have placed a £75million buy-out clause on his contract, but he is still being considered by the Premier League duo in regards to his services.
Bale has been on the receiving end of a lot of criticism from his home supporters, with some of them even smashing his car after Los Blancos’ 2-1 loss to Barcelona in the ‘El Classico’.
But it seems that Bale has rejected any sort of exit, and is adamant to prove his worth to the club as well as the heavily critical supporters.
The Wales international is not likely to depart the Bernabeu anytime soon, especially having only joined the European champions less than two years ago.
