96-goal Premier League player part of Tottenham’s January clear-out

Mauricio Pochettino will continue his building of Tottenham in his ‘eye’ by selling as many as eight players this transfer window, that is according to the Daily Star.

Kyle Naughton looks to already being part of that clear-out with the Englishman close to completing a move to Premier League rivals Swansea City.

Also on the reported list of available players Spurs are: Benoit Essou-Akotto who is believed to be available on a free transfer, Emmanuel Adebayor (who was booed by the Tottenham faithful recently), Spurs’ current longest serving player in Aaron Lennon, expensive flop Roberto Soldado, central midfield pair Etienne Capoue and Paulinho and, rather surprisingly, Nacer Chaldi is also believed to be available for transfer despite bagging seven Premier League goals so far this season.

It is believed that the former Saints manager wants to raise funds and free up space for the potential signings of Everton’s Kevin Mirallasthe Lilywhites saw an initial enquiry rejected – Aston Villa’s Fabian Delph and Sporting Lisbon’s Islam Slimani.
