Manchester United have rejected a loan offer from AC Milan for star midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to reports from talkSPORT.
Fellaini has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks after struggling to play on a regular basis under manager Louis van Gaal.
The Belgium international has only managed to feature in ten league games, with most appearances coming on as a substitute.
However, according to Italian source Correiere della Sera, Serie A giants Milan are interested in Fellaini’s strengths, and have made a loan offer for his services.
But that has been instantly turned down by the Red Devils, as Van Gaal still sees the former Everton midfielder as an important squad player despite his limited game time.
Milan will be expected to look elsewhere for midfield additions, as star anchorman Nigel de Jong could leave the San Siro and return to the Premier League with Leicester City.
Fellaini, 28, has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals.
