The agent of Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj has revealed that his client will not be leaving the club this summer, according to reports from the Daily Star.
Januzaj has struggled for regular first-team football ever since the arrival of Louis van Gaal as manager last summer, despite being one of the stand-out performers under former boss David Moyes.
The £25million summer signing of Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven is also set to push Januzaj even further down the pecking order, but despite this, his agent Dirk De Vriese has claimed that the 20-year-old is happy to fight for his place at Old Trafford.
“Adnan is feeling good at Manchester United,” he said.
“They don’t want him to leave the club, he is considered still as their biggest talent since many years.
“There was a lot of top teams asking to buy him and a lot of sub-top teams to loan him but he will stay at Manchester United to become a legend in the club.”
Januzaj was signed by United as a 16-year-old back in 2011 from Anderlecht, and was given his senior competitive debut for the Red Devils in 2013.
Last season, Januzaj only made 18 league appearances, scoring no goals.
