Injury-plagued midfielder Alberto Aquilani will not be leaving Liverpool after just one season, according to the Italian's agent.
Aquilani, 25, has started just six league games all season despite arriving as a high-profile £20million replacement for Real Madrid-bound Xabi Alonso last summer.
An ankle injury prevented the former AS Roma star from making his debut until October, while further niggles have restricted him to just a handful of appearances all season.
But despite suggestions that Aquilani could be offloaded by a frustrated Reds boss Rafael Benitez this summer, agent Franco Zavaglia firmly believes his client's future remains at Anfield.
"I don't think Liverpool will dismantle the team because they are in an economic crisis," he declared.
"Plus Alberto has a five-year deal there. How can people say that he will be sold?"
