Newcastle United’s Ayoze Perez has been linked with a switch to Manchester United, but his agent Olaf Bonales has played down a potential move, according to reports from talkSPORT.
His debut season in England is beginning to alert a number of teams, with Ayoze already representing Spain in the Under-21 squad.
Perez, who used to play for Spanish second division side Tenerife, was very close to signing for Serie A side Roma in the summer, but decided on a move to St James’ Park instead.
Bonales revealed that a move away from England is out of the question, but also added that his future is not certain, despite Perez tied down on a four year deal.
“At the moment I do not think [there is a chance of him going to Italy], but who knows what will happen?” he said.
“We prefer to remain in England and he still has four years on his contract with Newcastle.”
In regards to a switch to Old Trafford, he stated that nobody will be forcing a move and Perez is being tipped to remain with the Magpies.
“If we need to change clubs, everything must go naturally. Now it is better to stay.”
