Both Manchester United and Chelsea are being tipped to miss out on the services of Felipe Anderson, after his agent declared his client’s happiness at Lazio, Metro reports.
However, Anderson’s agent, Stefano Castagna, admitted that the Brazilian is keen to remain in Serie A despite interest from England.
“The relationship between the club and player has always been good and we signed an important [contract] extension,” he said.
“There are definitely many clubs looking at him, but he is happy at Lazio.”
The player has been on great league form, scoring nine goals and providing six assists from a total of 22 appearances this season.
United boss Louis van Gaal is also said to be interested in the winger’s teammate Stefan de Vrij, who is being monitored by scouts from Old Trafford.
Apart from the services of Anderson, Jose Mourinho and Van Gaal have also been linked with a head-to-head battle to sign Real Madrid star Raphael Varane.
