Manchester United and Chelsea target Fredy Guarin is tipped to remain at Inter Milan by his agent, Marcelo Ferreyra, according to reports from the Express.
The 28-year-old has been linked with both Premier League clubs in the past, while Turkish giants Fenerbahce were also said to be keeping a watchful eye on the player.
He has been a season regular for his side this term, featuring 37 times in all competitions, scoring a total of seven goals while providing nine assists.
Despite heavy interest in the services of the versatile midfielder, Guarin’s agent has revealed that his client is completely happy at Inter.
“We’re definitely not looking for a new home for Fredy, he’s extremely happy at Inter. He wants to stay in Milan, he has a great relationship with Coach [Roberto] Mancini, and he’s only thinking about doing well in a Nerazzurro shirt,” he said.
He still has two years remaining on his current deal at the club and is keen on staying with his side in order to help them get back to the top.
“His dream is to win with that shirt, and that’s all that’s on his mind.”
The Italian giants have struggled greatly this season, finishing eighth in the league as they failed to keep up with Juventus, Roma, Lazio, and Fiorentina in the top four.
