Manchester United target Felipe Anderson is believed to be unhappy at Lazio following remarks made by his agent and sister Juliana Gomes, according to reports from the Express.
The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford during the summer window, with talks said to have already taken place.
Anderson is yet to start a Serie A match this season, with Gomes admitting that he needs to play more, despite not knowing why he is continuously being overlooked by manager Stefano Pioli.
“He was benched again and I don’t know the reason, but he showed his mettle,” she said
“Now we expect him to be regularly deployed by the coach.
“A player with the potential and capabilities of Felipe Anderson cannot be happy otherwise.”
The current statement made by his agent may alert United, who could reignite their interest at the end of the current campaign or even in the January window.
However, he is being tipped to feature in the starting lineup when Lazio face Dnipro in the Europa League on Thursday following injuries to both Miroslav Klose and Filip Djordjevic.
The Brazil Under-23 midfielder made 37 appearances in all competitions for his side last term, scoring a total of 11 goals while providing a further 10 assists.
