Liverpool have been urged by Chelsea star Petr Cech’s agent to sign his client in the upcoming transfer window, Mirror reports.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho has revealed there are currently no bids for the Czech international, despite the veteran shot-stopper now second in the Chelsea pecking order behind Thibaut Courtois.
Viktor Kolar, who represents Cech, believes the the Blues’ back-up goalkeeper would walk right into both Liverpool and Arsenal’s respective squads and they should be making an offer in January.
“It’s unlikely Petr will leave Chelsea in the January transfer window. The club and coach want to keep him to help win the title. I think Arsenal should have made an offer to him. I think Petr would be considering it.
“Liverpool need to strengthen their position in goal and they know Petr will be available in the summer.
In the case that Liverpool or Arsenal don’t come knocking in January, Kolar believes that Cech will not sit another entire season sidelined behind the current Belgium number-one and leave Stamford Bridge next summer.
