Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has moved a step closer to joining Chelsea after revealing his admiration for the way the Stamford Bridge club play.
Aguero, 21, has been linked with the Blues during each of the last two transfer windows, but the Argentina star has steadfastly refused to discuss his future.
However, he has now given a strong indication that if he were to leave Madrid it would be for the Premier League and Chelsea.
"Chelsea are interested in me because they think I can play an important role for the team," he is quoted as saying.
"And I think I fit with their style of play.
"Of course I watch the Premier League on TV and I think it is the best league in the world, along with the Spanish league."
Aguero's stock rose further last month after he scored both of Atletico's goals in a 2-2 Champions League draw with Chelsea in Madrid.
The South American starlet has also found the net 13 times in La Liga this season.
