As reported by The Daily Mail, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s future at Arsenal is in doubt with no resolution to his contract situation in sight.
Despite making 45 appearances for the Gunners last season in all competitions, it appears the Gunners don’t see Oxlade-Chamberlain’s contract renewal as a priority this summer with The Daily Mail reporting that he still hasn’t been offered a new deal.
The report says that this situation has left the midfielder frustrated with his standing at the club and with just 12 months left on his current deal, it all could mean he leaves the club this summer.
The Mail say three Premier League rivals are waiting in the wings and monitoring developments; Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.
Given his talent and potential, he is just 23 years of age after all, you’d expect Arsenal to have wrapped up any doubt about his future at the Emirates.
He’s not the only one either of course with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez yet to commit their future to the club.
