Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has dropped a strong hint that Mario Balotelli is also on his summer shopping list after tipping the Internazionale striker to shine in the Premier League.
The 19-year-old has emerged as a transfer target for both Manchester United and Manchester City in recent days.
However, the two north-west clubs are likely to face stiff competition from Chelsea should Inter decide to listen to offers for the Italy Under-21 international.
Balotelli scored nine goals in 26 Serie A appearances for Inter last season despite regularly finding himself at loggerheads with former coach Jose Mourinho.
When asked whether the teenager would be a good fit in the Premier League, former AC Milan coach Ancelotti said:"I think so. Here the atmosphere is different.
"I think a player with this type of character would be better suited here than with respect to Italy.
"It's difficult to find a young player with this quality. Even England struggles to find a player at this level."
