Manchester United starlet Donald Love has added to their growing injury list, with the defender limping off while playing for the U-21 side this past Monday, Daily Mail reports.
Love, who ironically made his debut a day before Valentine’s against FC Midtjylland, has picked up a hamstring problem and has become the club’s 14th player currently sidelined with an injury.
The 21-year-old full back was hoping to add to his debut with other youngsters such as Marcus Rashford now earning regular roles, but he will now have to wait after being replaced by Sadiq El-Fitouri in their game against Middlesbrough.
With Marcos Rojo injured, Love was in contention of making his English top flight debut, but Joe Riley is now expected to make the bench when United face Watford this Wednesday after playing 45 minutes.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old breakout star Rashford, who scored two goals against Arsenal on Sunday, is set to receive a new contact that will see him earn 3000% more than his current salary.
