Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs has sounded out a warning to Premier League rivals that they should be scared of pacey duo Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck, Daily Star reports.
Walcott has only recently resume full training after being sidelined from an anterior cruciate ligament injury back in January, and team-mate Gibbs believes that the combo of Walcott and Welbeck will have other teams scared of the Gunners’ attack.
Gibbs said: “It is good to have Theo Walcott in the team, because he is such an important player for us. Theo coming back will give us a big boost.
It is difficult to get over an injury like his and it takes a lot of commitment and dedication, but he will be fitter and stronger than ever.
“The timing of his return is pretty good, what with Ozil being injured – this was a big blow for us.”
In regards to Danny Welbeck, he added: “Danny is going to be very important for Arsenal, because he’s given us another dimension to our play.
