Arsenal and Chelsea battle for Brazilian starlet


Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are battling to sign highly rated Santos youngster Victor Andrade, according to the Daily Express.

Andrade is yet to sign an offered long term in Brazil and is waiting for big offers to come in in order to follow in Neymar’s footsteps and move to Europe.

Barcelona, PSG and Real Madrid are fighting with Arsenal, Chelsea and City for the young attacker who is expected to go on and have a big future for the Brazilian national team, with a World Cup call up not out of the question for next summer’s home tournament.

The players’ agents NVA Entertainment Group have now confirmed that there is interest in their star man and that England could well be the possible destination.

An NVA Entertainment Group spokesman said:  “We can confirm that there is interest in England in Victor , and not unsurprisingly from some of the bigger clubs.

“Victor is a wonderful talent, but we and his family are calm and we are confident his future will be resolved at the right time, in the right way.”
