Arsenal and Chelsea looks to have been given a transfer boost in their pursuit of Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette after revelations made by his agent, according to reports from the Express.
The 24-year-old was earlier valued at £36million, but a disagreement on his new wages has caused a drop in his potential transfer fee.
His agent David Venditelli revealed that a number of offers have already come in, while adding that the club cannot pressure them into keeping the player.
“The offers we’ve had from abroad are very significant in terms of finances,” he said.
“Ultimatums and media pressure won’t change our demands, which OL are aware of.”
Lacazette is now said to be worth about £21million, a fee that looks to have attracted the Premier League duo to his availability.
The France international has been on great scoring form this past season, netting a total of 31 goal from 40 appearances in all competitions.
He has also been linked with moves to Manchester United and Liverpool and due to his strained relationship with the Ligue 1 side, an exit is looking likely.
