Both Arsenal and Chelsea are keen to sign Barcelona youngster Abel Ruiz, according to The Mirror.
The centre forward is only 16 years old and as such is yet to sign a professional contract with the Catalan giants.
A product of the fabled La Masia youth academy, Ruiz has been taught how to play the game at one of the most prestigious venues in world football.
The La Liga outfit are reportedly keen to hang onto the teenager and president Josep Maria Bartomeu has personally intervened but the allure of moving to England will be on the table for Ruiz.
Arsenal have previously raided the Camp Nou side for young stars, with Cesc Fabregas, Hector Bellerin and Jon Toral all leaving their boyhood club to move to North London.
Chelsea are also believed to be in the chase for Ruiz, with the West London side having a wealth of young stars in their youth ranks already.
