Arsenal and Liverpool target Martin Montoya is being tipped by his agent Juan de Dios Carrasco to remain at Inter Milan, according to reports from the Express.
The 24-year-old joined the Serie A giants on loan from Barcelona during the summer despite been linked with the Premier League pair.
However, with Inter currently sitting second in the league, Roberto Mancini isn’t keen on making too many changes to his squad, with Montoya yet to make an appearance.
Dios Carrasco has come out to reveal that his client will just need to be patient as he will soon be given the chance to prove himself in Italy and hopefully extend his stay.
“He came to the Nerazzurri on a two-year loan with the option to buy in Inter’s favour, and I’m sure he’ll be an Inter player for many years to come,” he said.
“It’s only been six games. His time will come.”
The right-back failed to hold down a regular role with the La Liga champions given that he was forced to compete with star man Dani Alves for a place in the squad.
He was even linked with a January exit, but according to the statements made by his agent, Montoya is likely to remain in Milan.
