Arsenal and Liverpool managerial target Jurgen Klopp could make a return to the Bundesliga and join former rivals Bayern Munich, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
He left Borussia Dortmund at the end of the previous campaign and is yet to decide on his new destination, with both Premier League clubs said to be monitoring his situation closely.
However, it is believed that Klopp wants a chance to take over from Bayern boss Pep Guardiola when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
He enjoyed a very successful spell during his time in charge of Dortmund, winning the league two consecutive times between 2010 and 2012 and was also runner-up in the Champions League back in the 2012-2013 campaign.
Reds legend Dietmar Hamann also admitted that the German manager would be the perfect candidate to replace Brendan Rodgers given his turbulent start to the season.
The Gunners could also reignite interest in his services if manager Arsene Wenger fails to pick up any trophies this term.
