Former PSG winger Jeremy Menez has confirmed he will join AC Milan at the start of next month, as reported by Sky Sports.
The 27-year-old is a free agent after his contract in the French capital run down and Milan and beat off the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund for his signature.
Menez became a bit-part player for Laurant Blanc at PSG and that has also seen him drift away from the France national team.
Filippo Inzaghi has taken the reigns at Milan and Menez has revealed his excitement at being able to play under such a legend of European football.
“I’m really happy to be here,” he told the Milan Channel.
“I chose Milan because they are always Milan even if they have had some difficulties last season.
“Let’s hope to come back to being great and win something important.
“Mr Inzaghi is in charge for next season and he has a big will to win with Milan. He already won a lot as player and he wants to win also as a coach.”
