Arsenal and Manchester United have been alerted by speculation that Mario Gotze is feeling unsettled at Bayern Munich, according to reports from the Express.
The 23-year-old was earlier linked with an exit after his agent blasted manager Pep Guardiola for the way he treated his client since his £25.7million arrival from Borussia Dortmund.
Gotze has now admitted that if his relationship with the former Barcelona boss doesn’t improve, he may be forced to reconsider his future ahead of the new campaign.
“The last two years were definitely not very simple, we’ll see what happens,” he said.
“It will work out if Guardiola talks to me more often. I’m going to let everything come to me. Anything beyond that, we’ll see.”
The Premier League pair have been monitoring the situation of the Germany international throughout the current window, but may need to pay somewhere around the £50million mark to acquire his services.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen to add another forward into his squad and could link him up with fellow countrymen Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker.
United manager Louis van Gaal is also looking to reinforce his front line as he continues his search to find an attacking partner for Wayne Rooney up top.
