Arsenal and Manchester United have been halted in their chase for Paris Saint-Germain star Marquinhos after he agreed a deal with Barcelona, Goal.com reports.
The 21-year-old has constantly been linked with an exit after previously voicing his concerns over his lack of playing time under manager Laurent Blanc.
Chelsea are also amongst the teams interested in his services as all three Premier League giants look to spark a bidding war for his services in the summer.
However, it is now believed that the Brazil international has agreed a contract with Barca worth an estimated £3.6million-per-season.
Despite the agreement, PSG are yet to conclude a final transfer fee with the Spanish side as all three English clubs could still mount a move for the defender when the transfer window reopens.
It is said that the La Liga giants, along with United, are prepared to table an offer around the £40million region in their efforts to add him to their respective ranks.
