Arsenal and Man United issued hands-off warning by La Liga giants

Arsenal and Manchester United have been issued a hands-off warning by Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez over their efforts to sign his players, according to reports from the Daily Star.

Both clubs are being linked with Karim Benzema while United have already considered moves to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Sergio Ramos, and most recently Pepe.

In regards to Bale, manager Benitez ensured everyone that the Wales international will not be leaving the club this summer.

“Gareth is a huge player for us and I know that he’s happy,” he said.

“I’m not going to talk about offers. Everything is well and he’s going to have a good season with us I’m sure.”

He also added that top Gunners attacking target Benzema will continue his career in Spain and is confident on his stay.

“My answer is that I think Benzema is going to stay with us.

“I’m very happy with him. There’s no reason to think that he’s going to go.”

The Spanish giants are also keeping an eye on United star David de Gea, who has been tipped to join Real ever since the end of the previous campaign.

However, manager Louis van Gaal is standing firm on his decision to negotiate a swap deal for Ramos, something Benitez is not very keen on agreeing to.
