Arsenal and Man United running out of time to activate clause

Marouane Fellaini

Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini has until next month to push through a big money move before his buy-out clause expires, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Belgian playmaker looks set to leave the Toffees with former Everton boss David Moyes keen to take him to Manchester United as part of a transition he wants to make at the champions.

New Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is keen on the powerful midfield man, as is Arsene Wenger at Arsenal as the Gunners look to push their way back into the title race by spending big.

Fellaini has a £23.5million buy-out clause in his current Everton contract, however that clause expires on August 14 leaving the Merseyside club to demand more than £30million for their main man.

New Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is desperate to keep the 25 year old at Goodison Park, but knows the £30million plus will stand them in good stead to by a replacement and few other players.
