Watford are closing in on a deal for Granada forward Isaac Success, which could open the door for the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United to sign star Odion Ighalo, according to reports from the Mirror.
The Hornets believe that Success will be the ideal replacement for Ighalo, and manager Quique Sanchez Flores is hoping to tie the Granada striker on a pre-contract agreement before the end of the season.
Granada is another club also owned by Watford owner Gino Pozzo, and the relationship will greatly ease the transfer process for Success to come to Vicarage Road.
Nigeria international Ighalo is likely to depart in the summer after a brilliant campaign for the Hornets, scoring an incredible 15 league goals in his debut Premier League season.
It seems that a bid in the region of £12million will be enough to prize away the 26-year-old, which will greatly interest the Gunners, Man United, and Atletico Madrid.
Success, 20, has made 25 appearances in all competitions this term, scoring four goals.
