Arsenal attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla is tipped to depart the club for Atletico Madrid as the La Liga side keep tabs on him and could make their move for a possible summer switch, Metro reports.
Despite making 13 league appearances this season, it is believed that the 29-year-old Spanish international is still unhappy with his undefined role at the club.
He has been getting quite a bit of game time in recent weeks due to the Gunners current injury crisis, but once some of the players return to full fitness, he fears for his place in the starting line up.
Diego Simeone has already declared his interest in signing Cazorla during the previous transfer window and will surely be keen in making another move during the summer.
Even if he decides to leave the Emirates, Arsene Wenger will still have a host of top midfielders to slot into the role, with Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Alexis Sanchez, and a returning Theo Walcott all able to play in his place.
